ABOUT ME
I’ve always been drawing, as other people cook, write, or sing…
I’M INSPIRED BY THE CHILD I was and by what childhood remains deep inside.
My past and my happy childhood slide between the marks of my drawings. I owe a lot to my grandmother who instilled in me a love of art and of the gardens near Tours.
I’ve studied at the nation school of applied arts in Paris and at the Rhode Island School of Design in the United States.
For the past twenty years I’VE BEEN AN ILLUSTRATOR for young readers and for the French and American press.
Sometimes I work alone and sometimes with writer but always with the desire to express myself—to give, to share,to offer up, and to open up the doors of imagination and freedom.
Je dessine depuis toujours, comme d’autres cuisinent, écrivent, ou chantent…
Je puise mon inspiration dans l’enfant que j’ai été et dans celle qui reste blottie au fond de moi.
Mon passé et mon enfance heureuse se glissent entre les traits de mes dessins.
Je dois beaucoup à ma grand-mère qui m’a éveillée à l’art et à l’amour des jardins de Touraine.
J’ai suivi les cours de l'école nationale des arts appliqués de Paris, puis la Rhode Island School of Design, aux États-Unis.
Depuis 20 ans je suis illustratrice pour l'édition jeunesse et la presse française et américaine.
Dans mes créations parfois je chemine seule, parfois en compagnie d’un auteur mais toujours animée par l’amour de dessiner pour m’exprimer, pour donner, pour partager, pour offrir, et pour ouvrir les portes de l’imaginaire et de la liberté.
